Created by the National Taiwan University Library under the commission of the Ministry of Education, the Taiwan Academic Institutional Repository (TAIR) is a portal website for academic research that displays the joint academic achievements of all academic institutions in Taiwan.

In order to present the research achievements of participating institutions, TAIR collects and assembles research metadata from each academic institution and provides users with integrated search or browsing functions of all academic research results in Taiwan. Users can also enter the original archive system of each institution and access full-text data by clicking on the link in each metadata.

The TAIR development team is planning to hold a management meeting to advance lateral communication among team members and participating institutions. We also intend to provide systems manuals to assist each institution in improving the quality of metadata. We welcome any suggestions or advice from users on the improvement and development of our system.
